I don't know how much you like old movies, but this movie is an excellent Alfred Hitchcock movie. Wiki describes it as a "1940 American romantic psychological thriller film". Many years ago, my mother recommended this movie to me. I've seen it many times since and enjoyed it each time. It received 11 Academy Award nominations and won 2, Best Picture and Best Cinematography. Laurence Olivier stars and the Maxim DeWinter. If you remember watching the original Dr. Zhivago, Olivier played Dr. Zhivago. I think you'll enjoy this movie.

I assume you know who Alfred Hitchcock is. His is one of the most famous and successful filmmakers of the 20th century. His best films are: Psycho, Vertigo, The Birds and Rear Window to name a few. I can recommend all of these movies. His career spanned six decades and his films received 46 Academy Award nominations and won 6. His movies have been studied over and over by aspiring filmmakers. Hitchcock blazed many new trails.
